What Was Victor Frankenstein’s Strongest Motivation for Creating Life?
At first glance, Victor Frankenstein seems admirable and ambitious. When he decides to create a live being, everything is changed. He then admitted to Walton that his motivation for starting a new life was selfish.
A driven scientist, Victor Frankenstein. He desires to produce something that will improve the planet. Victor’s fascination in scientific advancement turned into a dishonorable tool for his ambition. He was single-minded because of his objectives. He ran away from both his family and his invention because of this and blamed the Monster for everything.
He created the beast for his own personal glorification. His obsession was to build something that people would worship along with his intelligence. Yet because of his identification problems, he made the Monster lost. Eventually, Victor refutes claims that he killed his loved ones and created the beast.
Victor places the blame on his creation while masking his regrets beneath a desire for retaliation. By the time of his death, he was fully aware of everything. He told Walton what he had realized. Victor forewarned him about the dangers of obsessions and the potential consequences. He did not agree with the Monster being confused and lonely rather than malicious.
